Firstbrokers Oy – Who We Are
Firstbrokers Oy is an insurance brokerage firm founded in 1989 — a pioneer in the field and Finland’s first of its kind. Over the decades, we have served more than a thousand corporate clients across various industries and continuously manage insurance and risk management solutions for over 200 companies. Our clientele includes both Finnish SMEs and subsidiaries of international groups.

Operating Area
Firstbrokers holds a license from the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA) to operate as an insurance broker in Finland. We are a strongly international player: we belong to several globally operating brokerage networks, through which we provide comprehensive insurance and employee benefit services in over 110 countries. German-Finnish Chamber of Commerce promotes economic relations between Germany and Finland. Its primary task is to help initiate new business between German and Finnish companies.
Finnish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce aims to expand and diversify trade relations between Finland and Estonia, fostering both cultural and economic interaction.
Chamber of Commerce Finland–Switzerland promotes economic and trade relations between Finland and Switzerland by offering networking opportunities, market information, and advisory services to companies in both countries.
Finnish Risk Management Association (SRHY) serves as a link and discussion forum for risk management professionals, companies, authorities, and other stakeholders.

The British and Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce in Finland provides Finnish companies with development services, including strategic advice, access to financing channels, and export promotion to the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth countries.

The Firstbrokers Team
Our team consists of four experienced insurance professionals who combine their diverse international expertise for the benefit of our clients. We bring backgrounds from multiple countries and areas of specialization, including corporate insurance, risk management, employee benefits, and multinational insurance programs.

Jaava Myllyniemi
Jaava is the CEO of Firstbrokers and a seasoned insurance industry leader, strategically guiding the company through an international network. He has extensive experience in multinational insurance programs and risk management, and he is actively involved in the global Brokerslink network.
Kristina Kreisberg
Kristina serves as an International Account Manager, with expertise in multinational insurance solutions and managing large corporate accounts. She actively participates in international conferences, such as Brokerslink events, bringing clients fresh insights into global risks and market trends.
Svetlana Deryuzhinova
Svetlana is the Office Manager at Firstbrokers, responsible for daily operations and team coordination. She is also a key support pillar for Firstbrokers, ensuring smooth customer service, administration, and collaboration with international partners.
Eduard Kanoshin
Eduard works as an International Account Manager, delivering tailored insurance solutions to companies in multiple countries. He has been trained at the Lloyd’s Europe Broker Academy, and his strengths include deep expertise in risk management and the ability to integrate local and international insurance knowledge.
